What Does Frac Sand Hauling Entail?

Frac sand plays a vital role in the fracking process, which involves fracturing shale to release oil, natural gas, and associated liquids from pores in the rock. Water is released in a high-pressure stream to force the small pores to become larger fractures; when the water stream is turned off, frac sand is then used to hold the fractures open so that the rock continues to release its fossil fuels. Frac sand is a high-quality quartz sand. It is durable and crush-resistant so that it holds up against the enormous pressure of the fractures. The longer the frac sand can hold up, the more efficient the well is.

Our frac sand hauling professionals load and haul frac sand using bottom drop or pneumatic trailers that are designed to keep moisture from contaminating the sand. We transport sand from the mine to the well site, prioritizing timely and reliable delivery. We supply the specific quantity of frac sand you need, allowing you to focus on your operation.
